What better way to conclude the commemoration of our 70th anniversary than by publishing the Ultramar Sustainability Report 2022. This document provides information on the main issues and indicators affecting our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) performance and management of our Strategic Business Units from Canada to the Southern Cone.

2022 Milestones
As Ultramar celebrates its 70th anniversary, it is consolidating a business approach across 16 countries in the Americas, based on a sustainable management model with an environmental, economic and social impact. Its objective is to contribute to improving people's quality of life through the development of foreign trade, operational excellence and a customer focus. It has reached its seventieth anniversary as "a partner you can trust" with this vision and will continue to achieve milestones in the future.

Our employees are the beating heart of Ultramar and the driving force behind our Sustainability Strategy. Therefore, we aim to extend our occupational health and safety measures, strengthen their talents and improve their quality of life, which will benefit business development.

We developed our Diversity and Inclusion Policy in 2021, which was communicated to all Ultramar subsidiaries and associates during 2022.

Ultramar’s companies are supported by 22,262 suppliers and subcontractors in America, and 90% of them are local.
Total purchases of goods and services was more than US$1,500 million in 2022, with 87,6% sourced from local supplies.

We care for our natural surroundings, by mitigating our impact on the environment, and proactively contributing to the campaign to reduce global warming.
